A.C. White encourages your moving plans to be communicated well in advance of the moving date with the assigned office moving coordinator of A.C. White. This establishes clear communication to assure the formation of a planned relocation and the proper sequence of events to assure a successful transition.

The preplanning of a commercial move is the most important element to a successful move. These meetings (or a meeting) address critical issues:

1. Move Schedule
2. Tagging (color coding)
3. Floor Plans (destination assignment of employee codes)
4. Access to loading and unloading sites
5. Packing Responsibilities
6. Supervision (mover and client)
7. Furniture that must be emptied (desk, oversized credenza, bookcases, metal shelving, five-drawer lateral files)
8. Proper Packing Demonstrations
9. Facility Protection
10. Unpacking Services
11. Debris Removal
12. Servicing of computers, copiers, etc.
13. Moving systems to be deployed (shuttle or full loaded)
14. Delivery of cartons/tote boxes prior to moving
15. Destination walkthrough to assure quality of service
16. Elevator assess(es) (origin and destination)

Laboratories and Laboratory Equipment
With our special care in packing and moving the hundreds of fragile pieces used in a laboratory, you can be sure that they will arrive at their destination undamaged. We have successfully moved laboratories for major Atlanta hospitals and universities.

Computers and Electronics
We annually move more than 4,000 computer terminals. Such special equipment as padded computer carts and air-ride lift gate vans ensure the safe transportation of your computers and other electronic equipment. Some of Georgia’s largest private and governmental institutions have engaged us to move their costly electronic equipment.

Large Libraries and Filing Systems
A.C. White has hundreds of specially designed carts for moving books and files. We have moved some of the largest libraries in Georgia, including public libraries, college libraries and major law libraries.

Modular Systems Furniture
Moving modular and systems furniture is no problem for us. A.C. White has an in-house crew that specializes in installing such furniture systems. We have completed such moves for a number of major Georgia corporations.
